Istanbul Jazz Nocturnes, Vol. 1 gathers twelve poems into a single after-dark musical world.
The album is not arranged as a simple collection of unrelated songs. Its continuity comes from the meeting of poetry, memory, jazz and Istanbul—each track carrying its own emotional weather while remaining part of the same night.
Across Turkish source poems and English track titles, the record lets the words travel without hiding where they began. The city is not decoration; it is the atmosphere holding the sequence together.
A childhood melody, heard again.
Back Then… (A Childhood Melody Reborn) begins with one original melody and follows what happens when arrangement changes its character.
The six-track EP does not ask one version to replace another. Soft rock, pop ballad, bossa nova, orchestral and minimal piano arrangements sit beside an English-language return, each revealing a different quality in the same musical source.
That makes the EP less a set of remixes than a study in memory: one melodic idea, heard from six distances.
One poem, three musical lives.
“Çocukluk Aşkı” returns as a Turkish Radio Edit, an English-language single and a rock interpretation.
The words begin in the same poem, but each release listens for something different. The first single establishes the catalogue’s starting point. Childhood Love carries the poem across language. The 2026 rock version changes the pulse while keeping the memory at its centre.
A further jazz interpretation appears inside Istanbul Jazz Nocturnes, Vol. 1—evidence that a source can continue to open rather than settle into one definitive form.
